Ever notice how fashion trends are always changing?
One season a certain color is everywhere...
The next season it's totally different.
One year skinny jeans are "in."
The next year everyone says something else is the must-have look.
And honestly...
I've never been one to chase every trend.
I usually get dressed based on how I'm feeling that day.
Some mornings I feel like wearing bright colors that make me smile.
Other days, I'm reaching for my favorite comfy outfit.
Some outfits might be considered "in style"...
Others might have been hanging in my closet for years.
And you know what?
That's perfectly okay!
Because while clothing trends come and go...
There's one thing I hope I never stop wearing.
Kindness.
Now, I have my days.
Some mornings I'm tired.
Some days don't go exactly as I planned.
Some days I have to remind myself to slow down, take a deep breath, and reset.

But no matter how I'm feeling...
I hope people experience kindness when they encounter me.
Because the truth is...
We rarely know what someone else is carrying.
The cashier who smiles at you.
The person sitting beside you.
The neighbor walking their dog.
The friend who says they're "fine."
Every person has a story we can't see.
Sometimes a smile...
A compliment...
A patient response...
Or simply taking a moment to really listen...
Can mean more than we'll ever know.
Fashion can brighten someone's day.
I truly believe that.
Putting on an outfit that makes you feel confident can change how you carry yourself.
But kindness...
Kindness has the power to change how someone carries their heart.
And to me...
That's always worth wearing.
So yes...
Have fun with fashion!
Wear the colors that make you smile.
Express yourself.

But if I could encourage you to wear one thing every single day...
It would be kindness.
